People love to play computer games, whether a fighting or sports game it all about winning. But the Nintendo Wii has brought so much more to the table then any other console, now instead of just playing a game and tiring out your mind, you can now also tire out your body.
I myself play golf a lot and to be honest I did not used to be very good, no matter what golf clubs or golf putters I purchased it just did not help me. Well a few months back I decided to buy a Nintendo Wii and it came with the golf game. I am so into golf so decided to play the golf game.
After a few weeks of playing the game I felt very confident in my new found ability to play the game so decided to join a tournament. I didn’t feel I would get very far, but to my surprise I got through the first round and then the second and third, I was in the semi finals but unfortunatley I got knocked out by an excellent player who had probably had 10 years and more of experience.
I was not going to get myself upset as I have gone from knowing nothing to playing in a major competition from the help of a games console. I do suggest that if you are looking to get into any type of sport to go out and get yourself a Nintendo Wii, within a few weeks you will have mastered your game. The wii and a nice set of golf equipment is all you need.

Go to any top video game facility and you will be amazed by the hundreds of options. Children and teenagers seem to know their way around video stores as if they were were there every day. For the adult, visiting a video store is like a maze of video games that all begin to look the same. Where should you begin to make it all seem to make sense?
You can always find information on the web, use you web browser and begin searching. Visit the website and search for the system that your child plays. Refer to the below guide for help.
Wii = Wii Nintendo System
EA Sports = Entertainment Arts System
PS3 = PlayStation 3 Console
XBOX 360 = Microsoft’s XBOX 360 System
PC = Personal Computer
PS2 = Playstation 2 System
PSP = Playstation Portable System
DS = Nintendo’s DS System
When you have located the section for the video games for your child’s gaming system, be careful to verify the ratings for each video game. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) provides game ratings in an effort to assist parents in choosing a game that is what the parents will permit their child to play. Here’s a guide to what the ratings mean:
C = Appropriate for Early childhood
E = Appropriate for Everyone
E 10+ = Appropriate for Everyone aged 10 and older
T = Appropriate for Teens
M = Appropriate for Mature Adults
The illustrations on the both video and PC game cases do a good job of representing the game’s content. So if you see an illustration of fighting on the cover you can pretty much bet there is violence in the game, If you see cartoon characters on the front and recognize they as being in the movie you just took your child to it may be safe.
There are alternatives to buying a game you are not quite sure of, you could always try a video game rental service and test the game prior to buying the game to make sure it is what you would want your child to play.
